NYU students meeting about LGBTQ issues with writer Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro

NYU students met with writer Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro and activist Zulma Oliveras Vega to discuss issues related to LGBTQ within the cultural, literature and equal rights advancements. Also, a brief presentation of Violeta, Arroyo Pizarro's latest novel took place along with a discussion on creativity, activism, race and gender. In addition, with the group were also speaker for the afroboricua communities, Dra. Maria Reinat, cineast Carlos Marcial and ex Young Lord, Panama.  The organization of the event were made by the Director of the program, Dra. Marta Moreno Vega and Dra. Marielba Torres at the Universidad Interamericana.
