National Women Studies Association Conference 2014 in San Juan Puerto Rico

As part of the National Women Studies Association Conference 2014 ‪#‎NWSA2014‬ ‪#‎NWSAPuertoRico‬ in San Juan Puerto Rico, I took part of two panels:

1) Roundtable on "Erotic Justice and Caribbean Feminist Organizing for Gender and Sexual Equality." We had an amazing and vibrant dialogue about creating justice through poetry, praxis, community work, and visual art. So grateful to my fabulous radical sistren! #nwsa #puertorico #caribbeanfeministbrilliance #eroticjustice #consciousvibration #poetrycanchangetheworld. Participants: Tonya Haynes, Angelique V. Nixon, Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro and Zulma Oliveras Vega.

2) "Black Feminist and Black Queer Theory: Challenging paradigms within the erotic: notes on afroboricua queerness" with Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro, Mara Viverito, Osmundo Pinho y Tanya Saunders.

We also met with Angela Davis again, since we have met last year in Ghana, and join the extraordinaires Alma Rosa, Ana Irma Rivera Lassen, Rabab and Yi-Chun Tricia Lin, presidente of National Women Studies Association.
