Durante mi participación trabajé literatura de visibilización puertorriqueña, de autoras y autores como Elijah Snow, Maria Soledad Calero, Charlene Gonzalez, Nemir Matos Cintrón, Lilliana Ramos-Collado, Mayda Colón, Karen Sevilla, Amarilis Pagán, Mery Land, Raquel S. Rivera,Carmen R. Marín, Mercedes Garriga-Torres, Marlyn Centeno y Zulma Oliveras Vega entre otrxs.
Fragmento de mi charla:
«I hid it, I remained silent. I had to hide. I lived in the closet and came out of it only when I was sure that the world had changed, that at this time I was not going to die of pain or would have to kill myself. There are still a few of those stories happening today, but believe me when I say that before (1970, 1980, 1990) there were many, many more.
And those stories are worth telling. Not with the idealization of the past, but with the rawness of the present, to secure that they do not to happen again in the future. This is our life at stake, showing this visibility.»
